Hello fellow students! My name is Lucas (Luke), and I am a senior pursuing an Information Science degree. In this first module we learned a lot of how web works, how the client and server may interact with each other, and how different programming languages like Javascript and PHP play a part in this. I personally have a couple years of experience making websites, typically with Django (a python framework) as the backend and using HTML, CSS (and SASS), and Javascript (sometimes frameworks). I have never used PHP and have never used a site builder, so interestingly enough that was the hardest part of this module for me! I look forward to learning PHP and hope to have a great semester!
